Zoe Chatzidaki

She was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She acquired a “Degree in contemporary dance” (Higher Vocational School of Dance "Rallou Manou”), in 1982. She has taught rhythmic, classical and modern dance in regular schools, kindergartens and dance schools. She's danced professionally and also choreographed for the theater and cinema.
From 1996 - 2019 she worked as a laboratory associate for the TEI of Athens in the Preschool Education department, teaching the Music - Kinetic Education course.
In 1992 she was a founding member and until 2015 the manager of the non-profit business of the "ANIMA-SOMA in dance movement" company, aiming to create a dance arcaive in Greece as well as promoting dance in general.
In 1997 she qualified as a dance therapist with F. S. Billmann and worked in the women's prison of Korydallos. She has been president of the Greek Association of Dance Therapists, from 2015 -2020 while in 2018 the 3rd European Conference of Dance Therapy of EADMT was organized in Athens.
She attended psychotherapy courses, 1998-2002 trained in Systemic Family Therapy at the Human Relations Research Laboratory with H. Kataki and worked as a psychotherapist, while she is interested and actively follows Lacanian psychoanalysis. She teaches in the training programs of Greek Association of Dance Therapists and in Aktina-dance school.
Since 2020 she is an Applications Lecturer in the Early Childhood Education and Care department in PADA university of Athens.
